Talk To Us Tuesday #8

Shawn and I are here again for week #8 of our linky party and I must say--it gets better and better each week! We had almost 40 link-ups last week! Thank you! I've made tons of new friends and I hope you guys have too.

This week, I'm linking up with Emmy Mom for her 10 Things to Smile About meme.  And guess what? I can because there are NO RULES for TTUT! *NANA-NANA-BOO-BOO*

1. I painted Emma's toes for the first time. Don't look closely. This little girls toes are ridiculous. Poor thing.

2. Golfed as a family and was happy about it.

3. Emma walked Lexi all by herself in the street (with supervision). No need to turn me in people. I've got connections.

4. I spent quality time with framily (friends+family) and took some interesting pics to prove it.
So sweet!

5. I finally started Christmas shopping and it shows on my credit card statement this month. Oy.

6. Emma is a shoe whore goddess and wears my shoes better than I do which is just sad. I twist an ankle in heels every time.

7. We attended church more often this month. (Lord knows we needed to)

8. Emma loves to help in the kitchen so letting her "help" me has been fun. I use the term loosely and sarcastically. It's about creating memories so the headaches are worth it.

9. I've made new bloggy friends this month and I'm loving getting to know them.

10. Halloween fun was had this weekend. WARNING: Picture overload. Just scan quickly. I'll never know.
Wishing she could reach the peddle

Pimps and ho's

A family of Smurfs

A wolf

A scary angel?

Twin lady bugs

One ugly female

Thing 1 and Thing 2

Friendly witches

Um, YIKES! An ax murderer?

Bud (he was there with Sissy)

I'm stumped.

The all-you-can-drink bar

Is she from the Addam's family?

Did Papa Smurf shart his pants?

The Swinging Superman <--not a joke.

Did you write a Tuesday post? Link it up! All the cool peeps are doing it! <---I'm just kidding.

What I'm not smiling about is getting around to visiting all my bloggy friends. I've been a busy, traveling fool but I'll get back on track this week! Please forgive me.

FYI: On Tuesday's, I visit everyone that links up and comments on my post and then I hit up everyone else. I just felt the need to share that with you. =)

Her toes are adorable so hush they are baby toes... she was a doll baby.. I hate golf, but I love family time. Mad hatter is who the guy was dressed up as from Alice in Wonderland. I think the woman looks more like the singer Crystal Gayle.. I don't wanna know about Papa Smurf and his bowel incontinence.. and dare I ask what kind of swinging superman does??

Lil Miss Emma is major CUTE!!

Looks like you have been having way too much fun. I hope that you have been repenting and not napping at church. I can see you might have to go to Falls Creek for the refresher course.

Lexi looks so sweet...I bet she lets Emma do whatever she wants.

You better watch it, if you start painting toes and giving her high heels, boys will be next...

Never mind Papa Smurf sharting, why is Smurfette kissing his butt?

Heather's Happenings said...

Awww the painted piggies! I started painting Allison's and she must have the piggies painted at all times now!

Papa Smurf did shit his pants! Bwahahahaha!

The twin lady bugs... That one little girl appears to be upset that Em is wearing the same bug outfit!

the confusing photo of 3 Johnny Depps... Capt Sparrow, the Mad Hatter and a Larger version of Johnny in Scrubs??

And YUM! Swinging Superman... is HOT!

I love little painted toes!!

I just got some GREAT costume ideas for next year. I should go shopping today!

At least those smurfs did the smart thing and dressed warm--we had a family of smurfs att he downtown trick or treat in our town. They painted themselves blue and wore white00but not nearly enough clothes to keep warm. By the end of the morning they didn't need the paint to be blue.

Emma & Lexi are too cute! Seriously, she always looks cutie in her pics!
Love the Halloween shots! The pimps & ho's were my favorite, followed by the twin lady bugs. Looks like the other girl was pissed Emma had the same costume! And I believe Papa Smurf did shart/shat himself. Smurfette needs to rock herself back on up outta there.

Teeny tiny toenails are ridiculously hard to paint! Lauren loves hers done, too, and thankfully has no issues when I slop the paint everywhere. Cute, cute, cute pictures!! I loved them all!

If I had an adorable little girl like your Emma, I'd have 10 Things to Smile About too! She's such a sweetheart!!

You know what I loved the most about your Halloween pics- there weren't any totally skanks! That was nice to see- or maybe you just didn't take pictures of them :). Little girl toes are hard to paint- they are so tiny and the subject rarely sits still.
Great great list and thanks do much for linking up :)

Oh, goodness... Christmas Shopping. Don't remind me!

Haha, #4… yes! That would be my friends. Hold the phone… someone went to the Halloween party as Bud and Sissy from Urban Cowboy!? Ugh! Why can I never think of anything that cool?! Kenny and I call each other Bud and Sissy (we may be obsessed with that movie). Just another option for next year’s costumes…

There is so much amazing stuff in this post, I don't even know where to start. The Smurf Shart, though, is the most amazing.

Bridget said...

Awww, cute toesies and love her costume. I saw about 3 Thing 1 and Thing 2's last night...wazzup with that??

Shawn said...

There is nothing wrong with that babies toes, you leave her alone!

That's a pretty hot girl in that picture but why is she giving you the bird? Where you drinking her drink or something?

Emma will walk better in heals better than you and bake better than you on day I;m sure. And she will never make fun or her child's toes or try to drink someone else's drink.

Is it just me or does the other ladybug look a little pissed that someone else is wearing her outfit better than her?

I still need to see your costume...

What a fun post!

The other lady bug looks PISSED Emma is wearing the same outfit as her! What a brat!

Swining superman looks cute. At a quick, first glance. YAY? NAY?

I like this linkup. I mean I linked up my issue with sweating. What other link up party could I link up to?!

You just now painted sweet Emma's toes... I did all of my girls by the time they were 2 weeks... sad huh. LOL

LOVE the pic of Emma walking her sweet puppy, that picture is SOOO adorable.

Gotta love Shawn... She is hilarious!!!

Christmas shopping... uggggghhh, I so need to start thinking about that!

Emma in your heels... Ahhh-FREAKIN-dorable!!!

Buys some mushrooms, give Emma a "safe" knife (Butter knife) & let her go to town :)

Your Halloween pics are SOOOO FUN!!!

Vivienne @ the V Spot said...

Wowie! You had some interesting Halloween types, huh? Emma is beyond adorable. What if she marries Grant someday, and then we can be related...?

CoolHandLucy said...

Scary angel=Angel of Death, I'm guessing.

And while your many Halloween pictures were lovely...where the hellfire is yours?!? You hold out on us for so long, and now...nothing?!? I second Shawn's pictorial sentiment.

And Kiddo likes to try on the highest, sluttiest looking heels she can find at a store. She's asked for a certain pair for Christmas ("Just for Dress Up!") but considering the kid got a concussion simply walking down the hall at school, I nixed that idea.

Linking up!

Kicka** Halloween party!!!!! I love all the photos. And just so you know I didn't scan, I'm totally stumped at the dude, too. He's like a cross between the Mad Hatter from Alice In Wonderland and some other unknown costume...

I need to start Christmas shopping. I always have a mile long list. :o/ And then I wait too long and have to buy impersonal gift b/c I can't think of anything creative to do. Ha!

Lourie said...

Love your list!!! ANd I love pictures. Is it okay to link on Tuesday if you are already doing another linky thing?
