It's baaaaaack! My girl, JennyKate, started a Friday Confessions meme way back in 2008 before we knew what a meme was. I finally decided to step on board in April 2009 with my own Friday Confessions. {Click HERE if you're bored and want to read it. It's kinda stupid but whatev.}
It's been a LOOOONG time since my last confession and I believe that confession is good for the soul so here we go.
I confess....
- I've been a blog slacker this week. I just wasn't feeling it. The weather was GORGEOUS and I wanted to be outside with Emma. At night, I want to pin stuff on pinterest, stalk facebook, snoop through twitter and watch trash tv. Don't hate me.
- Speaking of blogging, I've been a skimmer on blogs in the past. No, I'm not talking about yours, silly! If you don't capture my attention in the first 1-2 paragraphs then I'm probably going to skim. I may have blogging ADD. No hate mail please.
- I listened to Vanilla Ice this week. It was an accident but once I started singing, I couldn't stop. It was terrible. Please forgive me. Can we still be friends?
- It's been 56 days since I have tasted the Captain. *sigh*
- I have GNO tonight with my homies and I may cheat. DON'T YOU JUDGE ME. It's a mexican restaurant. I'm weak, people!!
- I ate a hamburger patty for dinner this week that I thought was from Monday. Turns out, M ate those while I was at the gym and I ate one with an unknown date of preparation. Soooo, any guesses what I did for a couple of hours on Wednesday night? Try not to be jealous.
- And finally, I confess that M is not a plumber.
He broke the hot water handle last night {trying to do a minor adjustment} which made hot water shoot STRAIGHT UP and flood my bathroom and ceiling. A trip to Lowe's, several 4-letter words and 4 hours later, we now have our water turned back on and my relaxing tub dates can resume.
There is a reason why I chose this saying for the spot above my tub.

Can I come over and relax in your tub? That's the kind of tub I want in my next house - poor hubby's going to have a specific list when we start future house hunting. ;) He's not a plumber, either - and can't even fake it as good as your hubby did. ;)
The last couple of days have been so nice!! It was 72 on Wednesday, it was a nice taste of Spring!

I LOVE my Garden tub, and mine has a skylight above it which can make it so beautiful at night. Light some candles and just soak eyeball deep.. I would be heartbroke if mine was broken as well.
I'm willing to forgive your blogging slackiness (yeah, I made it up) because we chat enough for me not to get my panties in a wad.
I love that saying, I wish I enjoyed to soak in a hot tub like you do but it bores me terribly!
At least you didn't poop your pants like someone I kinda know. How horrible would that have been while squatting your weights at the gym?

I'm a skimmer too. That's why I keep my paragraphs super short. It's hard to lose someone's attention that way.

Hey I'm a big fan of not posting anything if you aren't feeling it. Nothing wrong there.
I also have ADD with blogging. You don't grab me right at first, I'm gone. I hate long mournful blog posts about anything especially whining about nobody reading their dang blog. Put a few pics in at least is what I'm thinking.
I think you are reverting to your Falls Creek roots. No drinking, no cussing, its the new you.
BTW, you and I are now officially done. I can't abide Vanilla Ice. Sorry, been nice knowing yah, hasta la pasta and all that.

Ha, blogging ADD!! I totally have that too! I like quick and witty stuff and if it's long and deep, my brain can't handle it. I read blogs to let my mind loose, haha!

My husband is in construction- well he is a construction manager- but he is not a mr fix it at all
