Dirty Reading Material, Questions Answered and EGG Mail!

Hi friends! It's me! I'm here today because it's.....

.....and I NEVER miss a TTUT post! Plus, Shawn would get all pissy with me and I don't want that.

So, obviously, I've been blogging an average of once a week and only visiting you once a week too. I'M SORRY! But I have a good excuse. THIS HAPPENED:

Have you read these? Wow. That's all I can say. I'm 1/2 way through reading the 3rd and final book. I have a very eclectic taste in music and books and this has to be the dirtiest book I've EVER read and I can't put it down!!! I'm reading in ALL my free time. I kind of want to marry Christian Grey. He's got skills. Shhhh!! Don't tell M.

And guess what? Over the weekend, I was out running errands and I decided to take my kindle to do some reading in my car. WHAT?  WHO DOES THAT?? I wanted to be alone and read. No husband interruptions. No Emma interruptions. No in-law interruptions {even though they drove 19 hours to come see us Emma}.

So, there is my excuse. Am I forgiven?

By they way, I heard someone bought the movie rights. I'm not sure how they can make this movie without an NC-17 rating. Girls, IT IS JUICY! And if you need to liven up your libido, this book should do the trick. I refuse to elaborate further.

Moving on....

Last Tuesday, I asked for questions. I received 3. Here are the questions and my answers.

Allstarme wants to know if I really had to choose, would I choose Gale or Peeta. I've always been Team Gale....especially after seeing the movie. DON'T YOU PEOPLE JUDGE ME!

Miss Vandy wants to know about my favorite kind of underwear. *I'm blushing here* Ok, here is a picture of my favorite sexy undies:
Oh, stop it!! I'm KIDDING!  Here is my REAL favorite. In fact, I had M take a pic of me modeling a pink pair just this morning. Here is my incredibly toned, anti-cottage-cheese azz:

My incredibly generous Texas friend who mails me fun goodies, Janette, wants to know if I have a desire to cut my hair for the changing seasons. YES! BUT, I've tried this and I always HATE when I cut my hair and try to change it up. And don't get me started on color changes! SO SCARY! M likes it long, blonde and straight and his opinion is the only one that counts so now you know. Basically, I'M BORING. {But just on the outside!}

And finally....

Emma received an EGG in the mail filled with lots of goodies from my girl, Stacie! Yes people, YOU CAN MAIL EGGS! She LOVED it!!! And now she's addicted to DOTS candy. Thanks for that, Stac. But in all seriousness, thank you! That was so sweet!

So, what's your Tuesday post about? We would LOVE to read it! Link it up and get ready for some comment love. Come on....I know you wanna! ;-)

*DISCLAIMER* I may be slow getting around to you {the in-laws cramp my blog stalking since I'm all incognito and shiz} but I WILL visit! PINKY SWEAR!

I really need to check out the fifty shades of grey books. My friend CW says they're incredible. Of course now that I'm on pelvic rest AGAIN I have to be careful not to get too excited. So maybe after the rest is over? ;-)

Those are some hottie undies. I am rocking ones closer to the first picture these days. Sad but true.

Miss our fun chats-hope you get a nice break soon. Two weeks with the in-laws is just too damn long in my opinion. I wouldn't want my own parents over for that long!!

PS ain't nothing wrong w/long straight blonde hair. I'm always unhappy when I try to change mine up too. Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

Ok I am totally checking out these books now. I've heard about them from everyone and now I have to read them. My blogging will totally suffer now I'm sure...

I've heard so much about those books, but from everything I've heard I'm afraid I'd be walking around with my Ipad wrapped in a brown paper bag!

Yes I am still alive, I know I have been absent lately. Lot on my plate and running from depression. Sucking at it I might add. I am trying to get back in my writing, I just don't want to be so depressed all the time if that makes sense.. I hate feeling like this. Emma is such a cutie pie. I am letting my hair go gray, don't laugh.

We've talked about those books. We've even texted about those books. You need to be very nice to me because I have the power to elaborate further if I feel so inclined! MmwwwaaHaaaHaaaaHaaaHaa.

I've recently changed to cheeky panties and I love them, they cover a little more ass than those hot little lace numbers you're wearing but I'm older and bigger than you so....

How sweet of Stacie, she is an absolute doll!

Do you need to add another countdown on your sidebar? How many days until the in laws leave? At least you have a shopping day with your Mom on the calendar to look forward to!

I remember my mom and sister were trying to get me to read some erotica books that Anne Rice wrote. Are your books the same? I can't read sex scenes in books. It creeps me out. Maybe it's because I don't ahve a good imagination when I picture the people.

Ditching us for family and dirty books? You should be ashamed!

I am so going to cut all of my hair off..well alot of it anyway...in the next week or so. I can't take it anymore!

I had no idea Emma had such an addictive personality....good thing I went for the Dots and not the crack rock.....

Love ya!

50 Shades is up next for me and i mostly want to read it to see if it is any naughtier than any of these other things I have read. Because, truth be told, I've read some pretty dirty "romance" novels!

So I have ben wanting to read those books but I share a kindle account with my mom and I'm too embarrassed to buy them outright in the store....I'm a prude!!!!!

So, she mailed the plastic egg?? Who would have knew you could do that and it not pop open? Our mail carriers toss stuff around!

I'm definitely going to have to check those books out - I'm intrigued! :)

I never thought to bring my Kindle when I'm out doing errands to take some extra alone time to get some reading done...hmmm...I'm thinking a random errand run is going to be necessary soon! ;)

I cut my hair off one year - and hated not having long hair so I've kept it long ever since. At least with long hair you can change it around by putting it up, you're kinda stuck with the 'same' hair when it's short. :) And you or your hair boring? Never!

Just started 50 Shades of Grey two nights ago...stayed up until 3am reading!

Wanted to mention...I goofed---I linked #17 incorrectly...accidently copied and pasted without thinking...the correct link for me is #19! Sorry about that! And thanks!

Was up til 2am reading the first of the series. I'm almost positive I'm going to hell for reading it, but I can't stop.

I'm not a Twilighter, but have learned of the connection. I think you're a nerdy Tlighter, so you might appreciate.

If I had your hair, I wouldn't change a thing either. Instead I've got this stringy, slightly green mess that I have no idea what to do with...

Funny story - I was on an airplane once reading a book, just a regular book, not the kinky kind. But it got to a part with a pretty hot scene. I'm just reading away and then I look over, and realize the man next to me is READING OVER MY SHOULDER!!!! Holy crap!! I couldn't look him in the face after that and scooched as far over as those little airplane seats would let me. Embarrassing!

I've heard of the Grey books (most from bloggers who are practically panting), but I haven't read them yet. I'll have to put them on my TBR list (which is already a mile long).
I always take my Kindle (though now I can just take my iPhone which has a Kindle app on it) when running errands and sit in the car and read ALL ALONE! I thought I was the only one! Of course when I get home I come up with some crazy story about how packed the stores were or how bad the traffic was, blah, blah, blah, to explain my extra long errands. :)

I wish my hair looked as nice when it is straight, but it doesn't, so I go with the curly, wash and go style. It works and since I'm trying to grow it for the summer, so I can pull it up or back when camping I'm definitely not in the market for a cut.

I've been hearing a lot about those books, might have to check them out!

All of the girls at my school are talking about it.

Why do you think that is?

Damnit! I might have to read these now. I'm still on chapter one of the first Hunger Games book. Sigh.

Love your hot azz in your fave undies. :)

Kisses to Emma! I love her painted tootsies!

my hub too... straight long hair. He has a thing for brunettes so I tried it... 1 week later he said to change it back!!!

I have heard the books borderline rape and bondage. I need something adult and not more teenage angst books and vampires that sparkle. I guess I'll just have to give those books a chance.

Mailing eggs? Awesome. I want to mail an egg. Where did you get that pic of my butt? I didn't know I had posted it!

My husband listens to audio books as he has a long commute and there has been a few days that he has stayed in the car for about ten minutes after he made it home as he did not want to stop listening- so yea people do things like that.
I have a few books I want to read now but I am afraid too-- I have too much stuff I have to get done now.

MiMi said...

I need to read those books. Stat.
Also, I would have stolen those Nerds from Emma. Would've pointed at something to make her look and then stole em. I'm a pig.

Hah, you and your commenters are the only women that I've read that actually said that they liked 50 shades of gray. Everybody else is like "oh it so horrible I read one page and I it was so disgusting so I had to get my Bible and pray about it." They are LIARS!!! Whereas you speak the Truth.
I have an acquaintance who is a struggling author who is doing well writing erotica for women. He says that the ereaders like the Kindle have really made the sales of such erotica boom because women can read what they want without other people knowing.

Anyway take care!!

Ok, I am going to have to read this 50 Shades of Grey... I have heard so many people talk about reading it!
Also, I have to see the MIL tomorrow, so prayers are appreciated LOL.

I'm afraid to read those books. Seriously. Sex and the City made me cringe.... so I am guessing this might be a problem for me.

Xazmin said...

I get nothing done when I am reading a book. NOTHING!

Kids starve, wear dirty clothes, don't bathe - it's ugly.

Hence my self-imposed reading ban!!

Love your face!

I would wear underwear like that too if I had a butt like "yours".

And I have to disagree with you on the Peeta/Gale debate. (oh well, you have your tastes, I have mine.) I am in love with Peeta. And the actor who plays Peeta is a cutie, too, which is a little creepy because I am old enough to be his mother.
